P-Clip Vibration Applications & Selection Guide
P-clips are common fasteners for tubing and cable support. They feature a metal frame with rubber or PVC liner that provides vibration damping, noise reduction and surface protection.
Vibration Damping Principle
The rubber liner absorbs vibration energy from piping systems, reducing friction and noise transmission between lines. In hydraulic systems, pressure pulsations causing pipe vibration is a common issue. Rubber-lined P-clips effectively solve this problem.
Selection Guide
1. Determine tube OD and select matching clip size
2. Choose rubber material based on temperature and media (NBR/EPDM/Silicone)
3. Select band width and mounting hole spacing based on space
