Type C Conduit Body
Through-type conduit body for inspection and pulling in straight conduit runs. Both openings are in a straight line.
Type LB Conduit Body
90掳 elbow type, enters one side and exits bottom, for downward 90掳 conduit turns.
Type LL Conduit Body
Left turn type, enters one side and exits left, for horizontal 90掳 left turns.
Type LR Conduit Body
Right turn type, enters one side and exits right, for horizontal 90掳 right turns.
Selection Steps
Determine Conduit Size
Select conduit size (1/2 inch to 4 inch) based on conductor cross-section and quantity.
Determine Turn Direction
Choose Type C (through), LB (down), LL (left), LR (right) based on routing direction.
Verify Environment
Galvanized for indoor/outdoor. Use sealing gaskets for wet locations.
